Juan Lebrón

Juan Lebrón, born on 30 January 1995 in El Puerto de Santa María, is one of Spain's most outstanding padel players. He is currently 6th in the World Padel Tour (WPT) ranking and plays on the forehand side, partnering Paquito Navarro.

Juan Lebrón made history by becoming the first Spanish player to reach world number 1 in 2019, alongside Paquito Navarro. Although his partnership with Navarro was brief, ending at the close of that same year, Lebrón continued his stellar career by teaming up with Alejandro Galán. Together they dominated the tour, remaining the WPT's number 1 pair for three consecutive years. However, in May 2023 they were overtaken by Arturo Coello and Agustín Tapia. After four successful years, Lebrón and Galán announced their split after the second tournament of 2024.

Lebrón's career began with great promise in junior padel, where he was crowned Spanish champion several times and took part in the world championship in his age group. His World Padel Tour debut was equally promising. In 2016 he played with Gabriel Reca, climbing into the top 30 of the ranking. The following year he partnered Marcello Jardim, then finished the season with Adrián Allemandi, ending 19th in the ranking.

In 2018, Lebrón partnered Juan Cruz Belluati, reaching the final of the Catalunya Master in their first tournament together, although they were beaten by Sanyo Gutiérrez and Maxi Sánchez. Later, in October 2018, he joined Juan Martín Díaz, with whom he reached the semi-finals of the Granada Open in their first tournament together.

2019 marked a new milestone in Lebrón's career when he teamed up with Paquito Navarro. In their first tournament together, the Marbella Master, they reached the final, where they were beaten by Maxi Sánchez and Sanyo Gutiérrez.

Despite excellent results, the Lebrón–Navarro pair split up at the end of 2019. From 2020, Lebrón formed a new pair with Alejandro Galán, creating one of the most feared duos on the tour. Together they reached number 1 in the WPT ranking in 2020, 2021 and 2022.

Juan Lebrón remains a central figure in the world of padel, and his impressive career and achievements continue to inspire new talent in the sport. With every tournament, Lebrón shows why he is one of the most outstanding and promising players in professional padel.
