Andrea Ustero

Andrea Ustero is one of the great breakthroughs in Spanish women’s padel. Born on 12 May 2007 in Barcelona, she burst into the elite at just 19 thanks to her power, courage and huge room for improvement.

Developed in the Catalan youth system, Andrea moved through the stages at great speed: from junior championships she went on to compete on the professional tour and soon broke into the top ten of the FIP ranking.

She plays on the forehand side and her height (1.70 m) gives her great reach at the net and in the air. She is an aggressive player who looks to take the initiative and close out points decisively.

She currently partners Ari Sánchez, one of the most decorated players on the tour, and works with coach Ángel González. She already has several professional titles to her name.

The racket of Andrea Ustero is the HEAD Gravity Motion, a model that combines manoeuvrability, control and ball output, ideal for players who want to attack without losing precision.
