Fede Chingotto

Federico Chingotto, born in Olavarría on 13 April 1997, has established himself as one of the most outstanding padel players in Argentina and the world. He is currently 4th in the FIP ranking and plays on the forehand side alongside Alejandro Galán. Together they form the second-best padel pair in the world.

Career and achievements

Until the end of 2022, Chingotto formed a successful pair with Juan Tello, sharing the court for more than 7 years. Besides being the longest-lasting pair on the men's tour, they won fans' affection thanks to their exceptional chemistry on and off the court.

Since 2019, Federico Chingotto has been a constant presence among the top 8 pairs in the world. Despite reaching several finals, he had to wait until December 2023 to add a new trophy to his record. At the last tournament in World Padel Tour (WPT) history, he won the Barcelona Master Final with Paquito Navarro, and was also named MVP of the tournament.

After the success in Barcelona, Chingotto and Paquito Navarro went their separate ways. At the start of 2024, the talented Argentine joined Spain's Momo González. However, this partnership was short-lived. In March 2024, after Alejandro Galán and Juan Lebrón split, Chingotto teamed up with former world number 1 Alejandro Galán.

Federico Chingotto has proven to be not only a top-level player but also an influential figure in the world of padel. His ability to adapt to different partners and his perseverance place him as a role model for future generations.

With his current partnership with Alejandro Galán, the future looks bright for Chingotto. Padel fans are looking forward to great performances and new victories from this powerful pair.
