Franco Stupaczuk

Franco Hernán Stupaczuk, known as “Stupa”, was born on 25 March 1996 in Chaco, Argentina. He stood out in padel from a young age, becoming national under-12 champion at 8 and number 1 of the Argentine Association at 16. He soon made his World Padel Tour debut, forming the iconic “Los Superpibes” pair with Martín Di Nenno.

In 2017, playing with Cristián Gutiérrez, he won his first title at the Mijas Open and repeated the feat in Gran Canaria. In 2018 he added the Granada Open to his record and, after splitting from Gutiérrez in 2019, won the Córdoba Open with Matías Díaz. In 2020, alongside Sanyo Gutiérrez, he won the Menorca tournament and finished the season as the third-best pair.

For 2021, Stupaczuk joined Álex Ruiz, winning the Sardinia and Mexico Open titles. In 2022 he teamed up with Pablo Lima, with whom he won the French Open and the Giza and Mendoza P1s, establishing themselves as one of the strongest pairs on the tour.

In 2023, Stupaczuk and Di Nenno reunited to revive “Los Superpibes”, winning the Qatar Major after beating Coello and Tapia, and defeating Bela and Sanyo in the final. Stupa is currently 5th in the FIP ranking, establishing himself as one of the most outstanding and promising players in world padel.
